Food Truck Fest

If you like food, or trucks, then this one’s for you!

I noticed this event on Facebook a few days ago and had been trying to find a time to go ever since. I keep an eye out for anything happening in or around the 16ème because let’s face it, it’s not always the most exciting (sooo many embassies, sooo many suits). This event was close enough that I could have made it there on a lunch break, but I decided to head over on a weekend instead to have more time to enjoy!

Food Truck Fest is well… basically what it sounds like. Lots of different food trucks, located a few steps away from the Eiffel Tower and right beside the Seine. There are picnic tables set up so you can enjoy your food right there, lucky for you since the weather forecast for this week is looking great!

The menu changes every day, so check their Facebook page to see what’s on!

Our food! I wish I remembered the name of the truck, but sadly I’m not that good of a blogger.

I was tempted by the crepes and cider at this one after my recent trip to Bretagne!

Some Canadians out here representing on Canada Day 🇨🇦

Top it all off with a lovely after dinner walk along the Seine, the Pont d’Iéna or the smaller bridge beside it, Passerelle Debilly, are both lovely.

Getting there: You’ll find it at the corner of the Pont d’Iéna and Quai Branly, metro Bir Hakeim (line 6) or Trocadéro (line 6 or 9).
