Picnic at the Eiffel Tower

Last Saturday some of my friends and I decided to make the most of the last few days of nice weather in Paris. It was sunny and 20 degrees which was a nice change from the chilly weather and the rain. I started off the day with an exercise class in the Tuileries – I’ve been dragging myself out of bed for the past few Saturday mornings to go to a bootcamp class, and I really like it.  Inexpensive, english-speaking exercise classes aren’t that easy to find in Paris so I’m happy to have found this one.  It also doesn’t hurt to exercise in a place as pretty as this:

After a hard workout I went home, and put together a few picnic supplies.  It gets dark so early now, the sun is already starting to go down by around 5:30.

The key to a good picnic is a lot of wine and a lot of bread!

Have a good weekend everyone!  I’m getting excited for my trip to Milan on Monday!
